The Romanian MEP Corinna Cretu (S&D), vice-president of the Development Committee of the European Parliament, is currently preparing a report on the role of local authorities and civil society in development cooperation and will organise auditions during the last week of January. After several years of implementation, it is now essential that an assessment of the use of funds in the NSA-LA programme be made.

There are currently six open calls for proposals under the NSA-LA programme for which local authorities are eligible as applicants or partners, for projects to be implemented in Nicaragua, China, Israel, Venezuela, Chad and India. The current calls for proposals can be found on the PLATFORMA website.
