Call for proposal for Development Education and Awareness Raising postponed to OctoberThe publication of the DEAR call for proposal has been postponed to October.
The call will include five lots. Local and regional governments (LRGs) are eligible as applicant under lot 5.
The main aspects of the call are as follows:
- 7 million euros are allocated to lot 5;
- the amount per project will be between 1 and 5 million euros;
- co-financing will be of 85% for LRGs of the EU 15 and of 95% for LRGs of the EU 12 + Croatia;
- the priorities will be the European year of development 2015 and the main themes of the Communication “A Decent Life for All”;
- projects have to cover a minimum of six countries.
In view of 2015, European year for development, the Commission wants to fund wider scale projects, with greater impact and a pan-European perspective.
Yet the European Commission took on board observations made by PLATFORMA and civil society organisations and these guidelines are more suitable than the ones presented in May.
The call is launched under the programme Non State Actors – Local Authorities (NSA-LA). The list of calls for proposals launched under the programme has been recently updated under the section “Funding opportunities” of our website.
