Initiative worth following

Cooperation between German and Latin American cities

Due to the increasing urbanization in Latin America, cities now face huge challenges in the field of urban mobility. Many of them have started to develop strategies locally and are now sharing their cooperation initiatives through at the national and international level. In Europe, focus is made on the reduction of traffic emissions through traffic management, traffic restriction and integrated mobility concept.

In the light of this context, Connective Cities is organizing a Practitioner's Workshop untitled Reduction of urban emissions through sustainable integrated mobility concepts, from the 17th to the 19th of June in Bogotá (Colombia). Local experts from cities in Latin America and Germany will share their experiences on integrated mobility concepts with the objective to develop projects targeted at the reduction of urban emissions.
