UPCOMING

Nantes, Bogotá, Quito, Marrakesh

Four names of cities on three continents. Four names written for months on our agenda. Four global summits where roadmaps for the next decades will be set. Nantes is already behind us, but Climate Chance set the basis for COP 22 which will take place next month in Marrakesh. This is the next world climate meeting, also the first since the Paris agreement was signed, the one just ratified in a sprint by the 28.

In Bogotá, the 2016 edition of the World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders will coincide for the first time with the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Urban Development: the Habitat III Conference that will be held just few days later in Quito.

Nantes, Bogotá, Quito, Marrakech. As many gatherings at which local and regional governments have their place and must play a role. As many gatherings where PLATFORMA will be alongside its partners to defend city to city and region to region cooperation. As many gatherings on which you will learn more in this Newsletter.
