Initiative worth following
4th edition of the Assises of European Decentralised Cooperation
The Assises of decentralised cooperation, organised jointly by the Committee of the Regions and the European Commission, will be held for two half-days, on the 1st and 2nd of April, in Brussels (Belgium). This event is a unique opportunity to bring together representatives of local and regional governments of EU and partner countries to exchange views and pursue the political dialogue with the European institutions on the community development policy.
Once again the members of PLATFORMA will be mobilized in organizing this 4th edition. The Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR), particularly, will be present throughout the organisation of a round table on “Post-2015: Universality and the territorial Approach to Development”. Several members will be represented in round tables and side events.
In the afternoon of the 2nd of June, PLATFORMA organises a thematic seminar on “Dialogue and capacity building for development and local governance”.
Registration for Assises of decentralized cooperation is now open on the Portal of Decentralised Cooperation of the Committee of the Regions.
